Firsthand How "T+" Platform Unlocks Global Trade in One Click
(Hong Kong, 26 May 2026) Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited (“Tradelink” or the “Group”) (Stock Code: 536) hosted the Go Digital, Trade Global – SME Day at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 20 May. The event brought together representatives from 17 economies, more than 20 top partners, over 30 keynote speakers, and in excess of a thousand online and offline participants to explore new trends in digital trade and witness how the new AI-empowered electronic trade-services platform “T+”, along with related global expansion tools and support services, can help SMEs overcome traditional trade bottlenecks.
Mr. YUEN Man Chung, Tommy, S.B.S, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tradelink, said: “The international trade challenges currently faced by SME traders are no longer limited to traditional operational issues; they also include tariffs, geopolitics, and the impact of oil price fluctuations on logistics and supply chains. Navigating so many overlapping challenges simultaneously is indeed no easy task. That is precisely why we want to channel our long-standing strengths and heritage into launching the ‘T+’ platform for our SME customers. As a secure and reliable electronic trade platform with low entry barriers, ‘T+’ combines our years of digital technology experience and expertise, including the application of AI.”
Mr. YUEN continued, “For SMEs, digital transformation is no longer a choice, but a prerequisite for their future survival. I would like to emphasise that the future development of the ‘T+’ platform will not be limited to Hong Kong; it will also take our traders into account, as international trade involves both inflows and outflows. When they encounter difficulties, we hope to be able to support them through the ‘T+’ platform.”
The venue was divided into a keynote area and four themed exhibition zones, covering both macro market trends and practical application solutions. Participants experienced firsthand how the Tradelink “T+” platform offers practical solutions to key pain points in cross-border trade, such as connectivity challenges, cumbersome signing processes and slow financing, providing tangible support for business upgrade and transformation.
The conference featured speakers from different business sectors who introduced SMEs to the latest tools and application solutions relating to cross-border payments and collections, financing, and risk management. In addition, the event invited the HKTDC Digital Academy to host a seminar, titled HKTDC Masterclass – Mastering AI for SME Global Trade: Generating Leads, Ensuring Secure Transactions, and Navigating Global Platforms. Topics included AI Marketing × Global Trends: New Rules for AI-Era Competition, and SME Global Expansion Challenges and the T+ Platform Solution. In addition, the panel sessions included Cracking the End-to-End Challenges of SME Cross-Border Growth and Trust Marketing: Data, Financial, and Legal Certainty in Global Trade, which brought together experts and seasoned industry professionals from various fields to provide SMEs with practical information and guidance.
